How do I set the maximum/minimum heights for my Ryzer?

NOTE: The steps below may vary depending on the remote model that you have. The following instructions were made for the standard RT-11 remote.

To set the maximum height for your Ryzer, go to the desired height you would like to set and follow the steps below:

1. Press M and see [5 -] indicated on the display

2. Press the UP button and notice [5 -] blinks

3. Hold the M button until you see [999] on the display

4. The maximum height has now been set

To set the minimum height for your Ryzer, go to the desired height you would like to set and follow the steps below:

1. Press M and see [5 -] indicated on the display

2. Press the DOWN button and notice [5 -] blinks

3. Hold the M button until you see [000] on the display

4. The minimum height has now been set

To reset the limits, follow the steps below:

1. Press M and see [5 -] indicated on the display and release

2. Hold the M you see [555]

3. Limits have been reset

I have to hold down the remote buttons to get to my pre-set height. Is there a way to do this with only one press?

NOTE: The steps below may vary depending on the remote model you have. The following instructions were made for the standard RT-11 remote.

If you have to hold down the remote’s buttons to get to your pre-set height, this means that your control box is in momentary control. To set your remote to non-momentary mode, follow the steps below:

1. Make sure that there is nothing underneath your desk, as we have to enter the reset procedure

2. Press and hold the DOWN button until the display shows [ASr]

3. Once [ASr] is shown, press and hold down [1], and you may see two values:

a. 10.1 = Non-momentary Mode

b. 10.2 = Momentary Mode

4. Complete the reset procedure by holding the DOWN button until your standing desk slightly lowers and rises.

How do I change the collision detection sensitivity?

Our standing desks have 3 settings for collision detection, and this can be set depending on your preference. To proceed, follow the steps below:

1. Make sure that there is nothing underneath your desk as we have to enter the reset procedure

2. Press and hold the DOWN button until the display shows [ASr]

3. Once [ASr] is shown, press and hold the UP [ ^ ] button and you may see three values:

a. 10.5 = 11 lbs

b. 10.6 = 22 lbs

c. 10.7 = 33 lbs

4. Complete the reset procedure by holding the DOWN button until your standing desk slightly lowers and rises.

Frame is good

The Prime Ryzer Frame is good and works as expected. The installation was a bit tricky but overall very happy with it. Recommended

Métal grommets

Metal grommets are solid and good but with all the cords I have, I had the remove the inside that help the cords stay immobile. Little bit annoying so should have stay with the standard grommets.

Love this rising desk!

The rising desk works great. Installation wasn't too bad -- I even managed to do most of it myself, though having a second person would've made some of the steps a lot easier.

It works as expected, and I don't feel any wobbliness at all. It can also support a crazy amount of weight -- I've got a UPS, my desktop, two monitors and stands, plus a whole bunch of other miscellaneous junk, and I'm still under the weight limit...well under it, if I recall! (though your mileage may vary based on the sizes and weights of your similar equipment -- measure as much as you can!)

Got this on sale, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's interested. Every step of the process went smoothly. And being able to alternate sitting and standing while working (or playing!) has been a game changer for me!

A lovely desktop

I'm not a connoisseur by any means, but I love this top. It looks sleek, feels great, and has a good, solid weight to it.

Good overall with room for improvement

Overall, the desk is good. It works as expected, looks good (although my tabletop had some imperfections that Progressive offered a partial refund to take care of), and the riser function works well. I had some issues related to accessories, the above mentioned imperfections, and missing mounting hardware, and customer service has worked with me to address these issues, although sometimes the responses are a bit slow. Overall it's 4 stars, overall good but some areas to improve upon. Also they ship via CanPar which isn't great, all of my packages looked beat up on arrival and took longer than expected, but luckily they're packaged well and there seemed to be no shipping damage. Plus the 15 year warranty definitely puts my mind at ease for future concerns. So I'd recommend just don't expect perfection.
